Farant, a well known and highly esteemed young lady of this city, died yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, after a lingering illness. Miss Farant, who was a daughter of the late John L. and Ella S. Farant of Norfolk, was in the twenty-seventh year of her age. She is survived by two brothers, John L. and James B. Farant and her grandmother, Mrs. Alicia Farant, of this city. The funeral will take place this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the family residence, No. 232 York Street. The services will be conducted by Rev. H.H. Covington, rector of St. Paul's M.E. Church.
