Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark October 28, 1918
FARANT, JAMES B. - At Virginia Beach, Va. Saturday, October 26, 1918, at 5 
o'clock p.m. JAMES B., son of the late John L. and Ella Bull Farant, in the 35th 
year of his age.
Remains will be taken from the residence, No. 638 Graydon Ave., to Elmwood 
cemetery for funeral services (private) MONDAY at NOON

Funeral services over the body of James B. Farant, who died at Virginia Beach 
Saturday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock, will be held at noon today at the grave in 
Elmwood cemetery. 
The services will be conducted by Rev. H.H. Covington, of St. Paul's church.  
The deceased was the son of the late John L. and Ella Bull Farant.
