Norfolk Virginian May 22, 1894

The funeral of Mrs. Ella Bull Farant, wife of Mr. John L. Farant, took place 
Sunday afternoon at 5:30 o'clock from the residence, No. 139 Duke Street and 
was conducted by Rev. B.D. Tucker, of St. Paul's P.E. Church.  The interment 
was in Elmwood Cemetery.

Mrs. John L. Farant died at her home on Duke Street, Saturday morning, after 
a long illness.  She leaves a husband and a number of small children to 
mourn her untimely death.
