Virginian-Pilot  May 30, 1918
Walter N. Farley died Monday at a local hospital after an illness of ten days, 
aged 34 years. He was formerly of New York and had been in Norfolk three months at 
work. He is survived by his wife. The funeral will be held at Oliver's funeral 
apartments, 610-12 East Freemason street, this morning at 10:30 o’clock. Interment 
will be in St. Mary's cemetery.
