Delores Pierce Farr, 71, of the 5800 block of Lowery Road, died Dec. 29, 1996, in 
her home.

Retired from the City of Norfolk's Transportation Dept., she was a native of High 
Point, N.C., and a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Earnest W. Farr; two daughters, Cheryl Clark of 
Norfolk, Angela Gail Barker of New Smyrna, Fla.; two sons, Larry Farr of Virginia 
Beach and Waymond Farr of Norfolk; a brother and two sisters; three granddaughters 
and a grandson; and a great-grandchild.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, 
Norfolk Chapel, by Pastor Rex Frost. The family will receive friends from 7 to 
8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
