DIED

FARRELL, FREDERICK THOMAS - Age 58, at a local hospital, Monday night, April 27, 
1931, at 10:30 o'clock.  A native of Armaugh County, Ireland, he was the son of 
the late Robert and Mrs. Jennie Farrell and husband of Mrs. Annie Murphy Farrell.

Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon, at 4 o'clock in 
the family residence, 1125 Seaboard Avenue, South Norfolk.  Burial will be in 
Riverside Cemetery.

BERKLEY OBITUARY

FREDERICK ROBERT THOMAS FARRELL

Frederick Robert Thomas Farrell, prominent in church and fraternal activities in 
Norfolk and Berkley, died last night at 10:30 o'clock at a local hospital after an 
illness of three months.  He was 58 years old.  Mr. Farrell was a native of 
Armaugh County, Ireland, and had made his home in this section for the last 29 
years.  He was a son of the late Robert and Mrs. Jennie Farrell.  He was a member 
of St. Bride's Episcopal Church, Oakdale Lodge, I. O. O. F., Willie Lee Lodge 
Knights of Pythias, South Norfolk Chapter, A. F. and A. M., Ionic Chapter, No. 46, 
and a member of Zyad Temple, D. O. K. K., and of the Past Grand Council 
Association, Knights of Pythias.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Annie Murphy Farrell; one son, L. C. Farrell, 
and one daughter, Mrs. D. P. Curling.  The body was removed from the funeral home 
of Graham & Sykes, Jackson and Jefferson Streets, South Norfolk.  Funeral services 
will be conducted at the residence, 1125 Seaboard Avenue, tomorrow at 4 p.m.  
Burial will be in riverside Cemetery.
