Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark November 24, 1935

Adelina Michele Fascetta, aged 16, died yesterday afternoon at a local hospital 
at 1 o'clock after a short illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of 
Norfolk. Surviving are her parents, Nicola and Mrs. Mary Fiscella Fascetta; 
three sisters, Misses Fannie, Mary Lee and Betty Jeanne Fascetta; one brother, 
Ernest Charles Fascetta and her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Michele Fiscella, all 
of Norfolk.  The body will be taken from the funeral home of James V. Derry, 346 
West Princess Anne Road, to the residence of her parents, 2601 Ruffin Way, this 
afternoon.
Funeral services will be conducted at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church Tuesday 
morning at 10 o'clock. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Funeral services for Miss Fascetta, who died Saturday, were conducted yesterday 
morning at 10 o’clock at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament by the Rev. Leo J. 
Ryan, pastor of the church. The casket was covered with a double spray of white 
chrysanthemums and fern. Mrs. R. P. Smith sang "Lead Kindly Light", accompanied 
by Mrs. R. C. Davis at the organ. The service was very largely attended.
Pallbearers were Frank Baldwin, Maynard Sorey, James W. Scellato, Vernon 
Whitehurst, Raleigh Bain and Clarence Perry. Interment was in St. Mary's 
Cemetery.
