Fascetta, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. Nicola Fascetta, of 2601 Ruffin Way, died last night at St. Vincent's Hospital as the result of injuries sustained in diving at Ocean View Sunday afternoon. His death was unexpected, reports coming from the hospital yesterday leading inquirers to believe that he was improving and that hopes for a full recovery were bright. Mr. Fascetta was brought to the hospital Sunday afternoon with what physicians thought was a broken neck. On Monday, however, an x-ray examination showed that the neck had been dislocated and that he was suffering from a fracture, but physicians held out hope for his recovery. Yesterday afternoon, however, he took a turn for the worse and died at 10:26 o'clock. He is survived by his mother and father, one brother, Ernest; three sisters, Fannie, Adeline and Mary Lee Fascetta, all of Norfolk. The body will be taken from the residence, 2601 Ruffin Way, to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for funeral services Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. ***************************************************************************** Michael Charles Fascetta — Funeral services for Michael Charles Fascetta were held yesterday morning at 10 o'clock at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, the Rev.
