Norfolk Virginian Pilot October 30, 1953

Nicola Fascetta, 72, husband of Mrs. Mary Fiscella Fascetta and son of the late 
Michael and Mrs. Serafina Gallina Fascetta, died yesterday at 1 p.m. at a 
Norfolk hospital. 
Mr. Fascetta was a native of Italy and had been a resident of this country for 
57 years and of Norfolk for 50 years, residing at 2601 Ruffin Way at the time of 
his death. He was a member of Roma Lodge, Sons of Italy and of the Italian 
Benevolent Society.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Ernest Fascetta; three daughters, 
Mrs. Otis O. Creef and Mrs. James Lloyd Dalby of Norfolk and Mrs. John B. 
Baines, of Virginia Beach and three grandchildren.
The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church for funeral services tomorrow at 9 a.m. Burial will be in St. 
Mary's Cemetery. Rosary services will be conducted at the funeral apartments 
tonight at 7:30

Nicola Fascetta — The body of Mr. Fascetta, who died Thursday, will be taken 
from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for 
funeral services today at 9 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
