Virginian Pilot Sunday May 10, 1903

Mr. James Fatherley, who had been ill for some time from the effect of a fall from 
a street car in Norfolk, died Friday night at 11:40 o'clock at his residence on 
Virginia Street.  Deceased was 45 years old and leaves a widow and eight children. 

The funeral will take place this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from Park Avenue 
Presbyterian Church, Brambleton and will be conducted by the pastor, Rev. E.B. 
McCluer.
The deceased was a member of the Woodmen of the World and Brambleton Lodge, Jr. 
O.U.A.M.
The interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery. (Interred in Elmwood Cemetery)
