Norfolk Virginian December 21, 1882

                        Death of Mr. W.T. Fatherly

We are pained to announce this morning the death of Mr. W.T. Fatherly, a well 
known printer of this city, which occurred at the residence of his parents, 
Queen Street, at 10:15 o'clock last night. The deceased was on our streets a few 
days since, though slightly indisposed, but the attack culminated in pneumonia 
and subsequently death. He was popular in and outside his profession, and 
deservedly so, as he adorned life with many estimable qualities.

FATHERLY - Wednesday evening, December 20th, 1882, WASHINGTON THOMAS FATHERLY, 
aged 35 years, 2 months and 20 days.
The funeral will take place from his late residence, 74 Queen Street, THIS 
(Friday) AFTERNOON at 3 o'clock. Friends and acquaintances are respectfully 
invited to attend.
