Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - May 10, 2007
CHESAPEAKE - Elsie McPherson Faulkner, 82, of the 1500 block of Ring Road, went 
to be with the Lord May 9, 2007, in Chesapeake. Born March 8, 1925, in South 
Norfolk, she was the daughter of the late Claude Howard and Lillian Wommack 
McPherson and the wife of the late Grover Lee Faulkner. A retired bookkeeper 
with White's Farm Supply, she attended South Norfolk Congregational Christian 
Church.
Left to cherish her memory are two sisters, Clara M. DeShields of Chesapeake and 
Claudia Estelle Sawyer of Newport News; and two brothers, Albert L. McPherson of 
Scottsdale, Ariz. and Claude L. McPherson of Chesapeake. She was preceded in 
death by a sister, Ruby M. Campen and two brothers, Howard R. McPherson and 
Melvin McPherson.
Elsie was a generous and compassionate sister, aunt and friend who will be 
greatly missed.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Riverside Memorial Park 
with the Rev. Amos Eby officiating. The family will receive friends at Graham 
Funeral Home, Greenbrier Chapel, today from 7 to 8 p.m.
