A native of Gates County, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Minnie Sears and the wife of the late Joseph Favron. She was a G.P.S.M. of Daisy Lue Tent (NU)651 of Norfolk, Chesapeake and Vicinity, a member of Royal Degree Chambers (NU)1 of United Order of Tents, Norfolk Temple 1A of I.B.P.O.E. of W., past state president of I.B.P.O.E. of W. of Elks, a member of Wheaton Chapter (NU)73 Order of Eastern Star P.H.A. and a member of Twilight Civic and Social Club of Norfolk. Survivors include one sister, Estella Sears Horton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Antioch Baptist Church, Norfolk, by the Rev. Joseph Lassiter. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Riddick Funeral Service. The family will be at the residence.
