Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch Juily 11, 1919
Mrs. Martha Fearear, widow of Manuel D. Fearear, died last evening, at the 
residence, 229 34th street, after ten days' illness. She was a native of 
Philadelphia and had resided in Norfolk 32 years. She is survived by two 
daughters, Mrs. W. J. Thomas, and Miss Imogene Fearear; a son, William C. Fearear; 
and a sister, Mrs. E. C. Anderson, all of Norfolk. The funeral will take place at 
3:30 p.m., Saturday, at the residence, Rev. J. S. Meredith of Ascension Episcopal 
church, officiating. Burial in Elmwood.
