P. C. Blackburn, pastor, officiating. The Rev. P. P. Brennan was present in the sanctuary. In his address at the conclusion of the mass, Father Blackburn paid tribute to the Christian life and character of the deceased. Several selections were rendered during the service by the choir of St. Mary’s Academy, with Mrs. Joseph Lex, as organist. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The pallbearers were Charles E. Purdy, Sr., Sam Crowling, John E. Milan, John Joseph Baecher and J. S. Thatch.
