VIRGINIA BEACH — Robert Richard Feltch, 63, of the 1300 block of Riva Ridge Run, a 
retired chief petty officer, died Aug. 29, 1987, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Mr. Feltch, a native of Boston, Mass., retired from the Navy after 30 years of 
service. He was a member of Oceana Base Chapel of the Good Shepherd, Naval Fleet 
Reserve 99, Seaside Chapter 1827 of Naval Association of Retired Fellows Enlisted, 
and Boys Town Alumni Association.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Fitzgerald Feltch; three daughters, Linda 
Slonski of Groton, Conn., and Barbara Bique and Loraine Feltch, both of Virginia 
Beach; two sons, Stephen Feltch of Camden, Ohio, and Edward Feltch of Norwich, 
Conn.; and five grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a m. Tuesday in Oceana Base Chapel of the Good 
Shepherd, Oceana Naval Air Station, by the Rev. Robert Hrdlicka. Burial will be in 
St. Mary’s Cemetery, Norfolk. The family will be at Maestas Funeral Home, Virginia 
Beach, from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the Tidewater 
Council of the American Heart Association, 891 Norfolk Square, Norfolk, Va. 23502.
