Andrew (Andy) Pat Femiano, beloved son of the late Andrew J. and Vita C. 
Femiano, entered Eternal Life on August 18, 2025, at the age of 68. Andy is 
deeply mourned by his surviving family, including his brother, Michael (Karen), 
Stephen, Renee, Angela (Chuck), his 14 nieces and nephews (godfather to 5) and 
many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Andy enjoyed weightlifting, listening to music, being outside (no matter the 
weather), good food, family and God.
In his younger years, he was in the construction industry and was a partner of 
Gold State Construction, with his father and brother, Stephen. He was a concrete 
finisher and second to none.
Later, in his quiet years, you could see him sitting outside, listening to 
music, and likely contemplating on God, in some way, shape or form. He was 
always around, always present, in his own way.
Andy was a leader, a mentor and even a teacher, sharing his wealth of knowledge 
with whomever would listen, but especially with his family.
Andy's quiet strength, loyalty and dedication to his family will be remembered 
deeply and he will be greatly missed and will remain in our hearts always.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 26, at 10am at Star of the Sea Catholic 
Church, Va. Beach, with a Funeral Mass immediately after, at 11am. Burial will 
follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Norfolk. Altmeyer Funeral Home-Maestas 
Chapel, is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be
