Fendley, aged 92, son of Capt. James H. and Mrs. Elizabeth Haynes Fendley, died at 4:20 o'clock yesterday morning at a local hospital. Mr. Fendley was a native of Norfolk County and had been a resident of Norfolk more than 65 years. He is survived by three nieces, Mrs. W.T. Curdts and Mrs. C. Fred Bonney, of Norfolk, and Mrs. Reed, of Portsmouth; a nephew, W.L. Prieur, of Norfolk, and several great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial avenue, this afternoon with the Rev. Sparks W. Melton, D.D., pastor of the Freemason Street Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be private in Elmwood Cemetery.
