Final rites were held recently at Shiloh Baptist Church for Mrs. Julia Wright 
Fentress of 762 Lexington street.

The Rev. W. L. Hamilton officiated and interment was in Calvary Cemetery.

Mrs. Fentress was a native of Warrenton, NC.  Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas 
Plummer, she lived in Norfolk 60 years.  She was a member of Shiloh Baptist and 
active in its Missionary Circle.

Out-of-town relatives attending the rites were:  three sons and daughters-in-
law, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Wright, who were accompanied by their son, Vernon, Mr. 
and Mrs. Thomas Wright and their daughters, Patricia and Lois, of New York;  
Randolph Wright and son of Manteo, CA;  three daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Harper, 
Mrs. Francelia Wright, and Mrs. Cailista Manuel, who was accompanied by her 
children, Joyce, Joanne and Kim of New York;  a brother, Junius Plummer of 
Norlina, NC;  and Mrs. Laura Wright of Chester, PA.

Survivors of Mrs. Fentress include another daughter, Mrs. Ella Roberts of San 
Francisco;  a sister, Mrs. Susie Brown of Washington, and a son, William Wright 
of Norfolk.
