The Rev. W. L. Hamilton officiated and interment was in Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Fentress was a native of Warrenton, NC. Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Plummer, she lived in Norfolk 60 years. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist and active in its Missionary Circle. Out-of-town relatives attending the rites were: three sons and daughters-in- law, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Wright, who were accompanied by their son, Vernon, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Wright and their daughters, Patricia and Lois, of New York; Randolph Wright and son of Manteo, CA; three daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Harper, Mrs. Francelia Wright, and Mrs. Cailista Manuel, who was accompanied by her children, Joyce, Joanne and Kim of New York; a brother, Junius Plummer of Norlina, NC; and Mrs. Laura Wright of Chester, PA. Survivors of Mrs. Fentress include another daughter, Mrs. Ella Roberts of San Francisco; a sister, Mrs. Susie Brown of Washington, and a son, William Wright of Norfolk.
