Miss Fentress was born in Norfolk. She was employed by Dr. Ira R. Lederman. She was a volunteer at DePaul Hospital and at the Lions Sight and Hearing Clinic. Survivors include her parents, Patricia N. and Ronald H. Fentress of Luray; a brother, Matthew R. Fentress of Harrisonburg; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R. John Neilson of Oxon Hill, Md.; paternal grandmother, Vivian Fentress of Norfolk; and paternal great-grandmothers, Marguerite Flynn and Blanche Fentress, both of Norfolk. The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. today in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by the Rev. Peter Courtney. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may join the family at 8561 Chesapeake Blvd. Memorial donations may be made to Save the Bay Foundation or to the Norfolk S.P.C.A.
