Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch January 4, 1956
FENTRESS, MARIA M. - At a local hospital, Tuesday, January 3rd, 1956, at 2 a.m., 
MARIA M., widow of John Wesley Fentress, and daughter of the late Martin and Mary 
Cahill Flanigan (sic), in the 98th year of her age. Remains will be taken from the 
H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, to Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church, for funeral services THURSDAY at 10 a.m. Friends of the family are invited 
to attend. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.
