Norfolk Virginian January 2, 1890
The funeral of Mrs. Mamie B. Fentress, wife of Mr. J. V. Fentress, took place from 
the Third Baptist Church yesterday morning at 11 o'clock and was largely attended. 
Rev. Vernon I’Anson conducted the funeral services, after which the remains were 
conveyed to Elmwood Cemetery and interred. The following gentlemen acted as 
pallbearers: S. K. Bell, Lewis Bonney, Edward Lovitt, Dennis Harding, Chas. 
Griggs, Theodore Ewell, Willis Brown and —— Coats.
