Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch December 11, 1924
Funeral services for Mrs. Nettie M. Fentress, who died yesterday morning in a 
local hospital at 1:45 o'clock, will be conducted at the residence, 357 Ward 
avenue, this afternoon at 3 o'clock. She is survived by her father, S. S. 
Ballance, of Abingdon, Va.: two sons, Wilson I. and Paul E. Fentress, of Norfolk; 
a brother, I. C. Ballance, of Portsmouth; a grandson, Martin H. Fentress, and a 
niece, Miss Willie Roy Fentress, of Norfolk. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery.
