He had been practically an invalid for twenty-five years and was confined to his home for the most of that time. He was formerly a brickmason and contractor and was well known and highly esteemed in the community. He was a member of Harmony Lodge of Odd Fellows. He is survived by two children, Herbert S. and Harry N. Fentress, of Norfolk, and two sisters, Mrs. Berguson (sic) and Mrs. Lovitt, both of Portsmouth. The funeral occurs at 3 p.m. tomorrow from his late residence and will be conducted by Rev. C. H. Galloway, of Trinity Methodist Church.
