The Virginian Pilot September 28, 1972

Joshua Ernest Fentress, Jr., 33, of 30th and Atlantic Avenue died in a 
Richmond hospital Tuesday.
He was a lifelong resident of Virginia Beach.
He was a son of Joshua Ernest Fentress Sr. and Mrs. Grace Williams Fentress 
of Virginia Beach.
He was a member of Kempsville Baptist Church.
Besides his parents, he is survived by a brother, Richard Fentress of 
Virginia Beach.
A funeral service will be held in Riverside Memorial Park Friday at 11 a.m. 
by the Rev. Charles H. Jones, with H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin 
Road, in charge.
