Virginian Pilot March 19, 1907

J. Wesley Fentress died at his residence, 359 Charlotte Street, at 7:30 
o'clock Sunday morning after an illness of nearly two months.  The deceased 
was a native of Princess Anne County but had been a resident of Norfolk for 
more that a quarter of a century, where he was well known and highly 
esteemed.  He was in the sixty-seventh year of his age and is survived by a 
widow and two children. He was a prominent member of the Cumberland Street 
Methodist Church, from which his funeral will be held at 10 o'clock this 
morning.

FENTRESS - At his residence, 359 Charlotte Street, Sunday, March 17, 1907, 
at 7:30 a.m., JOHN WESLEY FENTRESS, aged 66 years.
The funeral will take place from the Cumberland Street M.E. Church THIS 
(Tuesday) MORNING, March 19, at 10 a.m. Friends and acquaintances 
respectfully invited to attend
