Norfolk Ledger Dispatch  September 13, 1921   

T. L. Fentress, aged 67 years. died yesterday afternoon at the residence, 101 
Fort Street. He was a native of Norfolk and had resided in this city practically 
all his life. He is survived by a son, H.E. Fentress, of Norfolk and a daughter, 
Mrs. Benton Coldwell, of Boston, Mass. Funeral services will be held at the 
residence tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock. Burial will be in Elmwood.

The funeral of T.L. Fentress who died Monday afternoon at the residence 101 Fort 
Street, Atlantic City, was held yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Rev. Floyd 
Putney, pastor of the Central Baptist Church officiated. There were many floral 
offerings from a large group of friends. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery.
