He was a native of Norfolk County and had lived in Norfolk for the past thirty years. He was a son of the late James and Mrs. Michael Fentress and is survived by a brother, John Fentress; two nephews and two nieces. The body will be taken from the funeral apartments of E. Lee Cox, 421 Westover Avenue, to the residence of the brother, John Fentress, 1301 Willoughby Avenue. Funeral services will be conducted at McKendree Methodist Episcopal Church this afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. ********************************************************************* David Floyd Fentress — Funeral services for Mr. Fentress were conducted yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock at McKendree Methodist Church by the Rev. J. Arthur Winn, pastor of the church, and the Rev. T. R. Reeves, pastor of Monumental Methodist Church, Portsmouth. During the services, Mordaunt Etheridge sang, “Abide With Me." There were many in attendance and the floral offerings were numerous and beautiful. Pallbearers were J. W. Halstead, W. D. Nye, O. L. Shipp, R. T. Eggleston, E. L. Whitehurst, W. E. Shipp, L. W. Stagg and N. W. Williams. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery.
