Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark February 22, 1917

William Burwell Fentress, aged 57 years, of Fentress, Va., died yesterday at 4:10 
p.m. at a local hospital. He was well known and greatly esteemed.  He is survived 
by one son, W.B. Fentress, Jr.; one daughter, Effie Fentress and one sister, all 
of Fentress, Va.  The funeral will take place in Elmwood Cemetery this afternoon 
at 5 o'clock and will be conducted by Rev. J.T. Anderson.
