Norfolk - A funeral service was held recently for Mrs. Sarah Jane Fentress of
2537 Cleveland street, Philadelphia, in Hale Funeral Chapel.  The Rev. J. L.
Kearney officiated.

A native of the old Norfolk county, she was the widow of Isaac Fentress and the
daughter of the late Charles and Mrs. Harriette Gallop.

Surviving are a son, Samuel Fentress of Chesapeake and four daughters, Mrs. Cora
Small and Mrs. Sarah E. Harris, both of Philadelphia, and Mrs. Annie Hooper and
Mrs. Ida Rutherford both of Hampton.

Burial was in the family plot in Calvary Cemetery.
