Virginian Pilot March 26, 1987

Raymond Jefferson Fentress, 92, of the 1200 block of Glenside Drive, a retired 
master plumber, died March 24, 1987, in a nursing home.
Mr. Fentress, a Norfolk native, retired from A.R. Thompson Plumbing & Heating 
after 30 years. He was a Protestant and the widower of Florence King Fentress.
Survivors include a son, Raymond W. Fentress of Virginia Beach; six 
grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Elmwood Cemetery by 
the Rev. Paul D. Moore. The family will be at the residence. Memorial donations 
may be made to a favorite charity. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River 
Chapel, is handling arrangements.
