Virginian Pilot July 15, 1905
FENTRESS - At the Protestant Hospital, Friday, July 14, 1905, at 6:45 a.m. 
CELIOUS FENTRESS, in the 74th year of his age. 
His remains was removed to the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Alice Pierce, No. 
321 N. Maltby Avenue, Brambleton. Funeral will take place from above residence 
SATURDAY, July 15th, at 3 p.m. Friends and acquaintances respectfully invited to 
attend.

The funeral of Celious Fentress was solemnized from the residence of his 
daughter, Mrs. Alice Pierce, No. 321 North Maltby Avenue, at 3 o'clock yesterday 
afternoon. The service was conducted by Rev. Calvin S. Blackwell, D.D., of the 
First Baptist Church. The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery.
