J. O. Schmidhauser, officiating. The text of his address at the conclusion of the mass was "The Meaning of Suffering in This World.” The Rev. J. F. Govaert was present in the sanctuary. During the service, Mrs. F. R. McLaughlin and Mrs. R. P. Smith sang, "O Esca Viatorum," with Mrs. C. R. Davies as organist. There was a large attendance and many floral offerings. The casket was covered with a pall of Easter lilies, pink roses and fern. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Services at the grave were conducted by the Rev. J. 0. Schmidhauser. The pallbearers were C. E. Snow, W. R. Phillips, J. A. Woodard, V. P. Tyler, S. B. Phillips and G. E. Kirchmier.
