The Virginian Pilot Thursday December 27, 1962
Mrs. Nancy Bernard Ferebee of 4913 Colonial Ave., widow of John G. Ferebee 
and daughter of the late Charles B. and Mrs. Mattie Broughton Bernard, died 
in a Norfolk hospital Wednesday at 7:45 p.m.
A lifelong resident of Norfolk, she was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church 
and Tidewater Business and Professional Women's Club.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Joseph G. Ayers, and a brother, Charles B. 
Bernard, both of Norfolk; two nephews, and several great-nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Saturday 
at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Warner DuBois Jr. of Second Presbyterian Church.  
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
