NORFOLK — Miss Byrdie C. Ferebee, 95, of 6210 Hampton Blvd., a retired Norfolk 
public schools teacher and a native of Deep Creek, Norfolk County, died Thursday 
at 8 a.m. in a hospital.
She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church and its Crusader Fellowship 
Class. She was a director of the Children's Department of Pickett-Buchanan 
Chapter, Daughters of the Confederacy.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Vera F. Barrett of Norfolk, two nieces, Mrs. W. 
P. Robinson of Cinnaminson, N.J. and Mrs. R. B Weft of Oreland, Pa., and two 
nephews, Vernon C. Barrett and John C. Barrett of Norfolk.
A funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Twiford Funeral Chapel, 
Colley Avenue, by Dr. R. Harris Kesler. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
