Virginian-Pilot July 4, 1921
The funeral of Fred D. Ferebee took place from the funeral apartments of H. C. 
Smith, on Bank street, yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock, and interment followed in 
Elmwood cemetery. Rev. E. L. Bain, pastor of Cumberland Street Methodist Church, 
conducted the services, which were largely attended. Many floral tributes were 
laid at the grave. The pallbearers were: L. A. Staples, F. Cachelin, B. F. 
Bullock, J. R. M. Robertson, R. R. Burr and George Taylor.
