Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, April 6, 1994 
Willie L. Ferebee Jr., 74, of the 2800 block of Garrett St., an electrician,
died April 4, 1994, in a local hospital.

Mr. Ferebee was born in Norfolk and was the son of the late Annie Frances
Ferebee and Willie L. Ferebee Sr. He was the widower of Dorothy Hunter Ferebee.
He was formerly employed with the Public Works Department at N.O.B. and was a
former member of Union Congregational Christian Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Mary Ann Martin of Norfolk; two sisters, Bernice
Young of Norfolk and Vivian F. Wood of Chesapeake; two brothers, Alvin J.T.
Ferebee Sr. of Norfolk and Anthony U. Ferebee of New Jersey; one grandchild,
David Fornville of Norfolk; two sisters-in-law, Marion W. Ferebee of Norfolk and
Frances W. Ferebee of New York City; one brother-in-law, the Rev. Elmer L. Wood
of Chesapeake; and a host of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Hale Funeral Home, Norfolk,
by the Rev. Joseph M. Copeland and the Rev. Elmer L. Wood. Burial will be in
Calvary Cemetery . Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:45
a.m. for the service.
