A funeral service will be held on Sunday, Jan. 22, at Antioch Baptist Church for 
Miss Laura Mae Ferguson, 20, of 715 Hyde street.  She died Jan. 13 in a local 
hospital after a brief illness.

The Rev. J. W. Matthews, Antioch pastor, will officiate.  Burial will be in 
Calvary Cemetery under direction of the Morning Glory Funeral Home.

Daughter of James. H. Ferguson and the late Mrs. Lula Ferguson, the deceased was 
a native of Norfolk.  She was a night student at Booker T. Washington school, a 
member of the Antioch choir No. 2 and the church’s usher board No. 2.

In addition to her father survivors include her stepmother, Mrs. Mary Clark 
Ferguson, three aunts and an uncle, of Macon, GA.
