M. FERGUSON Mr. Charles M. Ferguson, son of the late Captain Finley Ferguson, passed away at his home, No. 372 Freemason Street, at 3:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon, in the 59th year of his age. The deceased was a native of Norfolk and had resided here all of his life, and was highly esteemed both in business and social life for his manly and upright character. The funeral will take place from his late residence at 10 o'clock Monday morning. ******************************************************************************* The funeral of the late Charles M. Ferguson, whose death has been noted in these columns, was held from the family residence, No. 372 Freemason street, at 10 o'clock yesterday morning and was largely attended. The service was conducted by Rev. J. Ernest Thacker, pastor of the Second Presbyterian church. The remains were laid to rest in Elmwood cemetery Following were the pallbearers: Messrs. H. L. Page, A. B. Broughton, S. L. Foster, W. M. Hannah, T. S. Purdie, L. Royster Pearson Williams and R. Henry Jones.
