She was a native of Italy and had been a resident of Norfolk for 22 years and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Nicholas Ferlazzo, her mother, Mrs. Rosanna Villanti; one daughter, Miss Rosa Virginia Ferlazzo; five sons, Louis, Anthony, Alfred, Julius and Emanuel Ferlazzo; four sisters, and three brothers. Funeral services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. ******************************************************************** Mrs. Marie Villanti Ferlazzo — Funeral services for Mrs. Ferlazzo, wife of Nicholas Ferlazzo, were conducted at 10 o'clock yesterday morning at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Services were conducted by the Rev. Leo J. Ryan, assisted by the Rev. John Ryan. At the conclusion of the mass, Father Leo J. Ryan paid high tribute to the Christian life and character of the deceased. There was a large attendance and many floral offerings. The casket was covered with a double cluster of Easter lilies and ferns. During the service, Mrs. S. A. Sutton sang, “One Sweetly Solemn Thought,” with Mrs. C. R. Davies, accompanist. Delegations from the Grand Lodge of Virginia, Figli Di Italia, Loggia Gorizia, Loggia Christopher Columbus, Loggia Roma and Italian Benevolent Society were in attendance. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Pallbearers were Angelo Sansone, Anthony Ripportella, Anthony Caprio, Anthony Ianello, A. Felicetta, Denny Margiotta, S. Cicero and S. LoCascio.
