Virginian-Pilot  April 19, 1925
Mrs. Maude L. Agnes Fern — Funeral services for Mrs. Fern were conducted yesterday 
morning at 9 o’clock at St. Mary’s Catholic Church by the Rev. P. P. Brennan. The 
Rev. Vincent D. Warren was present. The choir of St. Mary’s Female Academy sang 
several selections during the service. Pallbearers were: Dr. L. Mendelsohn, Dr. A. 
V. Crosby, Dr. T. M. Vorbrink, Dr. F. P. Smart, J. F. Bell and Harry Hicks. Burial 
was in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
