Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark March 22, 1918

Bernard C. Fernandes, infant son of Bernard and Nellie Cook Fernandes, died 
yesterday at the residence, 1009 Virginia Street. Funeral arrangements were not 
complete yesterday.

The funeral of Bernard C. Fernandes, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard F. 
Fernandes, will be held at the residence, 1009 Virginia Street this afternoon at 
4 o'clock. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

The funeral of Bernard C., little son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Fernandes, was 
held yesterday afternoon at the residence on Virginia Street, and was conducted 
by Rev. Geo. W. Dunn, of St. Mary's Catholic Church, being largely attended. 
Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery and the pallbearers were John V. Demaio, 
Rosario Demaio, Manuel Fernandes and Louis Demaio. There were many floral 
offerings.
