Fernandes, wife of Canado Fernandes, died early this morning, at the residence, 1116 Holt Street in her 51st year. She was a native of Kentucky, but had lived in Norfolk nearly all of her life. She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. B. Fernandez and Mrs. J.L. Saunders; two sisters, Mrs. M.J. Freitas and Mrs. Teresa Lazzari and four grandchildren. The funeral will take place next Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Rev. R.B. Kealey officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. *************************************************************************** The funeral of Mrs. Felicia M. Fernandes was held yesterday at St. Mary’s Catholic church, Rev. R. B. Kealey conducting the services. Mrs. James Hughes sang, "Lead, Kindly Light.” Burial was made in St. Mary’s cemetery, the pallbearers being M. Witzel, B. Sansone, E. Gerlandi, Mr. Purpura, P. Bossoner, F. Lograsso, R. J. Lawler and S. P. Cotton.
