Norfolk Virginian Pilot June 10, 1938

Juan Fernandez, aged 40, a native of Spain and son of the late Manuel and Mrs. 
Josephine Rodriquez Fernandez, died Wednesday afternoon at 4:55 o'clock at a 
local hospital. Mr. Fernandez, a seaman of the steamship Melrose, of Boston, had 
been a resident of Norfolk 12 years, residing at 128 Talbot Street at the time 
of his death.
The body will be taken from H.D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial 
Avenue, to St. Mary's Catholic Church for services tomorrow morning at 9:30 
o'clock. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

FERNANDEZ, JUAN - At a local hospital, Wednesday, June 8, 1938, at 4:55 o'clock 
p.m., JUAN, son of the late Manuel and Mrs. Josephine Rodriguez Fernandez, in 
the 41st year of his age.  Remains will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, No. 1501 Colonial Avenue, to St. Mary's Catholic Church for services 
SATURDAY MORNING at 9:30 o'clock.  Friends are invited to attend.  Interment, 
St. Mary's Cemetery.
