Joseph Fernandes — Funeral services for Mr. Fernandes, whose death occurred Friday 
morning at a local hospital, were held yesterday afternoon at 2 o’clock at H. D. 
Oliver’s Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East Freemason street, the Rev. A J. Taylor, 
of St. Mary's Catholic Church, officiating. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. 
Pallbearers were Antonio Ponga, Augustus Bernat, John Bentura, James Billbald, E. 
L. Fitzpatrick and George Loder.
