Miss Mary Josephine Ferran, aged 70 years, daughter of the late William M. and 
Mrs. Mary Agnes Foley Ferran, died at 6:30 o’clock yesterday morning at a local 
hospital. Miss Ferran was a native of Portsmouth, and a life-long resident of this 
section. Services will be held at the chapel of the H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, 1501 Colonial avenue, this morning at 10 o’clock, with the Rev. E. C. 
Kiefer, of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, officiating. Interment will be in St. 
Mary’s Cemetery.
