DEATHS

THOMAS FICARRA, aged 58, died yesterday afternoon at 5:15 o'clock at the residence 
of his son-in-law, A. Sansone, 319 West Twenty-ninth Street.  He was a native of 
Italy and had been a resident of Norfolk for the past 14 years.  Besides his wife, 
he is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Anthonia Lavena, of Italy; Mrs. Sarah 
Griffo, of Brooklyn; Mrs. Sansone, and Mrs. Joseph Vescost, of New York; two sons, 
Joseph and Frank Ficarra, of Norfolk, and 11 grandchildren.  Funeral arrangements 
had not been completed last night.

THOMAS FICARRA - Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at 
Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Rev. Thomas E. Waters, officiating.  During the 
service, several selections were rendered by the choir of Sacred Heart School.  
Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery.  The pallbearers were J. Montana, N. 
Granata, J. Caprio, Anthonio Sansone, Frank Mirabella and Frank Perrone.
