Frank Ficarra — Funeral services for Mr. Ficarra, whose death occurred Wednesday 
afternoon at the residence, 520 Rhode Island avenue, were held at 10 o’clock 
yesterday morning at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, with the Rev. Leo J. Ryan, 
pastor, officiating. There was a very large attendance and a profusion of floral 
offerings. The casket was covered with a pall of white chrysanthemums and ferns. 
During the service, Mrs. Frank McLaughlin sang, "Abide With Me,” with Mrs. C. R. 
Davies, accompanist. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The honorary 
pallbearers were A. Obici, Dr. R. C. Ruggieri, Bristow Harding, Henry Whitehead, 
Dr. F. P. Smart, Norman R. Hamilton, Hugo Bernagozzi, J. M. Cacace, Sam Silberman, 
Joseph Demma, John Pezzella, G. DiGirolamo, Samuel Simmons, John Briola, D. Tocci, 
J. Resta, M. Lagiglia, H. N. Zincone, Thomas Casale, Frank Lofurno and J. 
Charlesworth. Active pallbearers were Kirby Smith, Harold Meath, V. Ferlazzo, T. 
Spicuzza, S. Cicero, J. Penella, N. Toscano, E. Caminero. Delegations were present 
from the various organizations of which Mr. Ficarra was a member.
