BAYSIDE — Thomas Joseph Ficarra, 57, of 2602 Chandler Lane, Bayside, husband of 
Mrs. Evelyn A. Ficarra and son of Joseph and Mrs. Mary DiGirolamo Ficarra, died in 
Kecoughtan Veterans Hospital Thursday.
A native of New York City, he lived in Norfolk 57 years.
Besides his widow, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Genean Blanchard of Biloxi, 
Miss., and a son, Joseph Thomas Ficarra of Bayside.
He was a graduate of the University of Virginia Law School and was a member of St. 
Pius X Catholic Church and Norfolk Moose Lodge.
The Rosary will be recited in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 8. A 
funeral service will be held in St. Pius X Catholic Church Saturday at 10 a.m. 
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
