Field, wife of Mr. C. Albert Field and daughter of Dr. R. P. Walton, took place, together with that of her infant child, at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon from the Park Avenue Presbyterian Church, Brambleton ward, and was very largely attended. The services were conducted by the pastor, Rev. E. B. McCluer, assisted by Rev. George D. Armstrong, D.D., Rev. R. A. Robinson and Rev. Mr. Miller. It was a very sad occasion, the babe being in the coffin with the mother. At the conclusion of the solemn service, the remains were borne to Elmwood Cemetery and interred. The following gentlemen were the pallbearers: Messrs. F. D. Pinkerton, H. B. Bagnall, A. Jeffers, David Corprew, I. P. Jernigan, William H. Sterling, John W. Barber and E. E. Hall. The floral tributes were very beautiful.
